1. Check out The Hip Richies — This afternoon, starting at noon, Vail Jazz will present The Hip Richies at the Vail Farmers’ Market & Art Show. The Hip Richies are Victor Mestas, Raoul Rossiter, Mark Simon and Bill Kopper. “It’s jazz from all over the place, weird stuff, un-American at times. American at others,” Kopper writes on his website, billkoppermusic.com. Jazz at the Market is presented in a tent at Solaris on Meadow Drive every Sunday starting at noon, with seating for up to 100 inside the tent.
2. Cruise the Vail Villages Cruiser Crawl — Join the free Cruiser Crawl, which takes bicyclists on a 5-mile loop through Vail and Lionshead with libation hydration stops starting at The Fitz in Manor Vail Lodge, Atwater on Gore Creek and the Vail Chophouse in Lionshead. The costume theme is “legends,” such as legendary actors, singers, bands, athletes, etc. Participants will receive a punch hole on their crawl pass per stop. Each punch can be redeemed for one raffle ticket where you will have the chance to win a free Raleigh Cruiser bike. The ride starts at 3 p.m. For more information, visit thefitzlounge.com.
