2 Do: Our picks for top activities in the Vail Valley today

1. Take on the final Dunk-N-Dash — The last Dunk-N-Dash Duathlon of the summer will be held today at Nottingham Lake starting at 5 p.m. Swimmers in the Dunk-N-Dash can opt to make one or two 800-yard laps around the Nottingham Lake, and the 5K run starts and finishes at the lake’s pump-house. On-site/Day of Registration is $20 and available at the Rec Center until 3 p.m and on-site starting at 5:00 p.m.

2. See world premiere dancing — The 2014 Vail International Dance Festival continues at the Gerald Ford Amphitheater tonight at 7:30 p.m. with a magnificent cast of artists from ballet, modern and contemporary dance who will share the stage in a signature festival performance featuring world-premiere performances commissioned for the festival by acclaimed choreographers. The evening performance will be hosted by Festival Director Damian Woetzel. Tickets are on sale now and may be purchased online at vvf.org or by calling the Box Office at 970.845.TIXS(8497).
