1. See Architecture in Motion with Diavolo at the Vilar — Tonight at 8 p.m. at the Vilar Performing Arts Center in Beaver Creek, watch Diavolo explore the relationship between the danger of our environment and the fragility of the human body using everyday movement, ballet, contemporary, acrobatics, gymnastics, martial arts and hip-hop. Tickets are $30 for students and $55 for adults. They can be purchased at vilarpac.org.
2. Check out Big Sam’s Funky Nation at Hot Summer Nights — The annual Hot Summer Nights free summer concert series, hosted at the Gerald R. Ford Amphitheater Tuesday evenings, continues tonight with Big Sam’s Funky Nation. The energy level is high voltage when this stellar group of world-class musicians take the stage to meet the challenges of their funky band leader. All Hot Summer Nights Concerts take place at the Ford Amphitheater in Vail and doors open at 5:30 p.m.
