Experience “Fantasia” with live music — The soundtrack to Disney’s 1940 cinematic classic “Fantasia” was originally recorded by The Philadelphia Orchestra, captivating audiences worldwide, and tonight at 6 p.m. at the Gerald R. Ford Amphitheater in Vail, you can hear The Philadelphia Orchestra play the soundtrack live as Bravo! Vail presents its first-ever screening of a film for the audience to watch with live orchestra accompaniment.
2. Test yourself at the Vail Grind The annual Vail Grind returns to Vail Mountain tonight when mountain bikers challenge themselves on a 4.7-mile loop course that sees 1,200 feet in elevation gain per loop. The Vail Grind begins under the gondola in Lionshead above Forest Road and is free for spectators. Interested in participating? Get yourself a mountain bike and register on site from 4:45 to 5:45 p.m.
