Ride in Remembrance on May 21 honors emergency responders

VAIL — The 12th Annual Ride in Remembrance event will be taking place on May 21 as a tribute to Eagle County’s fallen emergency responders and to recognize the contributions of all members of the public safety profession. This year, organizers are expanding the ride to include a new classic car category in addition to civilian motorcycle riders and emergency service vehicles. After gathering at 10:30 a.m., the ride will leave Freedom Park in Edwards at 11:30 a.m. and will travel to Donovan Park in Vail where a memorial service will take place at noon followed by lunch.

To make arrangements to ride in the remembrance, call Moses Gonzales with the Vail Police Department at 376-6952 or email mgonzales@vailgov.com.
