Vail Realtors Amy Dorsey, Terry Nolan and Julie Retzlaff receive awards

VAIL — This year at the Colorado Association of Realtors’ annual convention in Denver, members of the Vail Board of Realtors received various recognition and awards.

“I think I speak for all of our organization in saying that we are extremely proud of the recognition that our members Amy Dorsey, Terry Nolan and Julie Retzlaff received,” said Amy Reid, CEO of the Vail Board of Realtors. “It demonstrates our presence both statewide and on a national level.”

Amy Dorsey, former president of the Colorado Association of Realtors, was named Colorado Realtors of the Year. Dorsey served as Colorado Association of Realtors president in 2009, as well as president of the Vail Board of Realtors and has held prominent roles with the National Association of Realtors before being recognized as Colorado Realtor of the Year. Her vast experience and dedication to the real estate industry within the Vail Valley has been both the foundation for her success and the basis for receiving this esteemed award.

Terry Nolan, of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Colorado Properties and Realtor Property Resource, was also recognized at the convention for receiving the honor of Vail Board of Realtors Realtor of the Year award.

Julie Retzlaff, of Sonnenalp Real Estate and past chair of Vail Board of Realtors, was sworn in as part of the Leadership Council as the vice president of member services for the Colorado Association of Realtors.

“The leadership, dedication and contributions to our profession, community and beyond are why these individuals were chosen by their peers for their respective awards and appointments,” Reid said. “These are big honors and we are proud of each of them.”
