Agave in Avon hosts electronic show Friday night
Ryan Summerlin March 21, 2013
Although the ski season is winding down, Agave is still bringing electronic shows to the Vail Valley every Friday night. Eclectic producer and Ninja Tune recording artist Daedelus, pictured here, is constantly experimenting and adding unique sounds to his mix. His name itself comes from an inventor in Greek mythology. With a classical and jazz background and his “Victorian dandy” look, Daedelus truly appears and sounds like no one else. He’ll be joined by the twin-brother force that is Two Fresh at Agave in Avon Friday night. Kendrick and Sherwn Nicholls merge hip-hop sensibilities and electronic beats and add drummer Colby Buckler to their live set to bring the energy in the room to another level.
Also on the bill is Ryan Hemsworth, another young electronic producer with a hip-hop side, who’s been making waves behind his debut EP “Kitsch Genius.” With a huge buzz behind him and a robust online fan base, you can expect Hemsworth will become a household name soon. DJ Mo; Rockin will get the party started at 9:30 p.m. Tickets are $16 at the door. For more information call 970-748-8666.
