EAGLE COUNTY, Colorado – A new electronic boarding pass scanner is now available at the Eagle County Regional Airport. The device allows passengers to use smartphones or other electronic devices to display their boarding pass at the TSA security checkpoint and at the gate.
The scanner was purchased by American Airlines; however the system will work for travelers on all three airlines that serve the Eagle County Regional Airport. Currently, both American and United Airlines can accommodate electronic boarding passes, with Delta Airlines anticipated to activate mobile scanning within the next few weeks.
Passengers who prefer to print and use paper boarding passes may continue to do so. For more information on the Eagle County Regional Airport and to book flights, visit www.flyvail.com.
