FORT COLLINS — Minturn-based SteamMaster Restoration and Cleaning was the winner of the 16th annual Torch Awards for Ethics from the Better Business Bureau Serving Northern Colorado and Wyoming.
The Torch Awards, a program of the Better Business Bureau’s Institute for Marketplace Trust’s Center for Character Ethics, recognizes businesses that demonstrate exemplary business ethics.
“It is a tremendous honor to be the first company recognized in the mountain region over the last 16 years to win this BBB Torch Award for Ethics,” said Gary Gilman, President and Owner of SteamMaster. “The credit goes to our team members for consistently conducting business within the principles outlined for this award.”
“On behalf of our team, we thank BBB for this recognition and look forward to supporting them with ‘In Pursuit of Ethics’ interactive program for high school students in our local area,” said Raj Manickam, CEO of SteamMaster. “We also congratulate the students of University of Northern Colorado for their winning paper submitted on SteamMaster,” said Raj.
Peers, colleagues and customers nominate businesses for the award and business students at the University of Northern Colorado, Colorado State University and the University of Wyoming prepare entries. An independent panel of judges selects the winners.
