VAIL — Community partners and businesses throughout Eagle County will have the opportunity to preview the collection of all 2015 World Alpine Ski Championships merchandise items Thursday, as the World Championships Organizing Committee hosts a promotional products expo at the Sonnenalp Resort in Vail.
From 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., the doors will be open to all Vail Valley businesses to review and order 2015 promotional items that will be available to all interested parties. The expo is geared toward businesses and organizations and is not intended for individual public purchases.
In addition to viewing the full slate of 2015 promotional products, participants can also register to win a number of giveaways and door prizes, including a 2015 gift basket valued at $250. Expo participants are requested to bring their business credentials to access the event.
"This promotional products expo will be a great opportunity for our community to get an idea of all the different items that can help their businesses and organizations promote the 2015 Championships," said Ceil Folz, president of the Vail Valley Foundation and head of the 2015 World Championships Organizing Committee. "We want to ensure that any business that wants to help promote 2015 has the ability to do so. We also want to thank Johannes Faessler and the Sonnenalp for hosting this event."
Qualified partners unable to attend the expo can register at http://www.zone2015.com to view and order items through the exclusive online ordering system.
Organizers have partnered with ImageSeller, a Denver-based company specializing in strategic global sourcing and promotional merchandise. The company has created more than 100 2015-specific items, along with hundreds of additional customizable 2015 branded pieces for any purpose.
Scheduled for Feb. 2-15, the championships are expected to showcase athletes from more than 70 nations, with an estimated 750 million worldwide television viewers and an onsite media and broadcast entourage of approximately 1,500 members.
