Frost Creek club names new executive

EAGLE — After a nationwide search, Chad Brue, Frost Creek owner, has announced that Mike Gibbs has been chosen as president and general manager of Frost Creek, located three miles outside of Eagle.

Gibbs is charged with the general management of Frost Creek and all of its operations, including member services, golf, food and beverage, retail, concierge and hospitality.

“We interviewed some of the best candidates in the country with a vast variety of career experiences,” Brue said. “It became clear that the search would result in hiring someone whose career was heavily weighted in mountain club experience. We knew that our new president and general manager had to understand the Colorado lifestyle and have experience in mountain activities that include, but are not limited to, golf alone.”

About Gibbs

Gibbs was born and raised in Georgetown, and is a life-long resident of mountain communities. Most recently, he was the general manager of The Stock Farm Club in Hamilton, Montana. Gibbs also spent 21 years with Vail Resorts in the Clubs and Mountain Operations Divisions. He was the club director at Red Sky Golf Club, the Activities and Programs Manager at the Beaver Creek Club and held various mountain operations management positions at Beaver Creek Resort.
