Vail Resorts hosts job fair Wednesday

VAIL — Vail Resorts will host a job fair Wednesday in Eagle County at the Arrabelle, A RockResort, from 12-7 p.m. to hire for winter positions at both Vail and Beaver Creek mountains.

The resorts are in search of service-oriented, professional employees to fill a variety of full-time, part-time and holiday seasonal positions. Those interested in winter employment are invited to apply to work in departments including lift operations, mountain dining, scanning and ticket sales, Vail and Beaver Creek Ski and Snowboard Schools, transportation, retail operations, and lodging. Resort department managers will be on site to provide candidates with information about all of the available positions.

“For those looking for seasonal, part-time or full-time positions at Vail and Beaver Creek this winter, we encourage candidates to visit with members of our resort teams to hear first-hand about opportunities and now is the time to apply,” said Matt Jones, director of human resources for Vail Mountain. “Job fair attendees may even receive contingent offers on the spot.”

Benefits of working at Vail or Beaver Creek can include a season pass valid at multiple Vail Resorts’ mountains, discounted dependent passes, discounts on food, beverage and retail items at the resort, complimentary and/or discounted lift tickets for friends and family, full benefits for full-time employees, 401K matching after 1,000 hours worked (offered to full-time employees working at least 750 hours), lodging discounts at other Vail Resorts properties, access to ski and snowboard lessons for employees and dependents, complimentary local area bus passes and more. Vail and Beaver Creek are also known for hosting great employee events, as well as providing innovative training and incentive programs.

For more information, call the human resources department at Vail, 970-754-3062 or Beaver Creek, 970-754-5270.
