Mondays

• Senior Spot, a program of Eagle Valley Senior Life, 1 to 4 p.m. A caring and friendly place for seniors who might need more personalized attention. Also for caregivers who benefit from additional time to address their own needs. Activities stimulate emotional, physical and cognitive functioning. Eagle River Presbyterian Church. • Men’s Discussion Group, a program of Eagle Valley Senior Life; 1:30-2:30 p.m. Connect with others and discuss interesting and stimulating topics to keep your brain working with stay young. Held at Eagle River Presbyterian Church. Call 970-331-5355 for more information.

• Full body fitness exercise class, 9 to 10 a.m. at the Golden Eagle Senior Center in Eagle. A full body workout incorporating both seated and standing activities. Variety will be offered with hand weights, resistance tubing/bands, circuit training, balance and coordination challenges, and cardiovascular training. Suggested donation of $2 per class. Tuesdays

• Senior lunch, noon at the Golden Eagle Senior Center in Eagle, $3 suggested donation for diners 60 or older. Home pick-ups and drop-offs are available. Call 970-328-8896 for reservations and information.

• Seated stretch and strengthen exercise class, 11 a.m. to noon at the Golden Eagle Senior Center. A fully seated class, incorporating general stretching and strengthening for both upper and lower extremities. Hand weights and resistance tubing/bands will be incorporated, as will seated balance activities to help engage the core. There will be some limited cardiovascular work in this class as well. • Transportation for errands (bank, post office, etc.). Bus leaves the Golden Eagle Senior Center at 2 p.m. for this service. Call 970-328-8896.

• Joint Relief Water Class, 10 to 11 a.m. at the Avon Recreation Center. $2 per class. Call 970-328-8831 for more information.

• Water aerobics class, 10 to 11 a.m. at the Gypsum Recreation Center. $5 drop in rate. Call 970-328-8896 for more information.

Wednesdays

• Senior lunch, 11:30 a.m. at VSSA/ Maloit Park Senior Wellness Center. $2 per meal for those 60 or older. Home pick-ups and drop-offs are available, depending on location. Call 970-328-8831 for reservations.

• Nordic walking at Maloit Park Senior Wellness Center, 10 a.m. Walking poles provides. Cost: Free.

• Chair yoga at Maloit Park Senior Wellness Center, 11 a.m. Free.

• Grocery shopping trip. Bus leaves Maloit Park Senior Wellness Center at 12:30 p.m.

• Move to Music, a program of Eagle Valley Senior Life, 1-4 p.m. 1:30-2:30 p.m. Limber up your joints, build strength and endurance, improve your balance and stretch while you move with music and have fun! • Senior crochet group, 1 p.m. at the Golden Eagle Senior Center. Are you looking for a fun group of ladies to crochet with and learn new techniques? This is the group for you!
