VAIL, Colorado – Ascent Sotheby’s International Realty recently promoted Patrick Barrett to broker associate and added Laura Howe as a new broker for the main office.
A Vail Valley resident since 1987, Howe has 22 years of real estate industry experience. Her career began at Land Title Guarantee Co. in Avon. She was also the lead closer for the Bachelor Gulch lottery, where she organized her team to complete 65 transactions in one day.
“Laura’s depth and breadth of experience, including knowledge in the various facets of real estate, make her an exceedingly valuable addition to Ascent Sotheby’s International Realty’s team,” said Craig Denton, company vice president and managing broker. “Her involvement in thousands of real estate closings over the past 20-plus years has provided her with a creative and insightful approach to customer service.”
An international communications marketing specialist, Barrett joined Ascent Sotheby’s International Realty in 2011 as sales assistant to The Ritz-Carlton Residences, Vail sales team.
Prior to joining Ascent Sotheby’s International Realty, Barrett spent four years as international communications manager for Vail Resorts Management Co. He was also instrumental in leading Vail Resorts’ expansion into the Brazilian and Canadian markets.
“Patrick’s experience and background in key international markets, along with his bilingual skills and business savvy, have enabled him to quickly transition into real estate sales and earned him a much deserved promotion,” said Tye Stockton, Ascent Sotheby’s International Realty co-owner and lead broker for The Ritz-Carlton Residences, Vail.
