BEAVER CREEK — Beaver Creek’s scenic summer lift rides on Strawberry Park Express Lift (No. 12) began operation Tuesday. As a result of the installation of the new combination lift replacing Centennial Express Lift (No. 6), Strawberry Park Express Lift will run daily through Sept. 1 and then weekends only Sept. 6-28, from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., weather permitting.

Scenic lift rides bring guests to the top of Strawberry Park where they can choose to hike the one mile across the ridge to Mamie’s Mountain Grill for lunch on the sunny, scenic deck overlooking McCoy Park, play disc golf on the relocated course or soak in the views from the top of the lift. Transportation will also be available to carry guests to and from Mamie’s. Lunch options will include burgers, reserve steaks, portabella mushroom, asparagus and more.

Due to the modified summer lift activity this year, there will be no lift-served mountain biking offered. Disc golf will be available starting Friday.

• Adult (ages 13-64) scenic lift ride: $26

• Adult scenic lift ride plus lunch: $32 (includes $15 summer lunch voucher for Mamie’s Mountain Grill)
