BEAVER CREEK, Colorado – Beaver Creek Resort is opening Grouse Mountain Friday and Larkspur Bowl on Saturday following the recent winter storms that blanketed the slopes with 19 inches of new snow in the past seven days.

Friday, Beaver Creek’s terrain will jump to more than 1,000 acres with the opening of Grouse Mountain trails, and on Saturday, the resort will offer 1,322 acres or 72 percent of its terrain, 109 trails and all 25 lifts will be open for the season.

On Saturday, Larkspur Bowl and the Larkspur Express Lift (No. 11) will open for the season along with the Elkhorn Lift (No. 14). More trails will be open in Arrowhead and also a number of skiways will open providing ski-in, ski-out access to hotels and homes.
