BOZEMAN, Mont. – The Coldsmoke Awards will come to Vail to share this year’s diverse collection of films.
The Coldsmoke Awards People’s Choice stop at Shakedown Bar in Vail will give those attending the Burton U.S. Open a chance to view this year’s unique collection of films. Here, they can find out how they can go online to vote and get the chance to win two days of catskiing at Powder Mountain in Whistler, British Columbia.
Coldsmoke events focus on paying respect to filmmakers, artists, athletes and the winter community. Films from the backyard and around the globe, combined with great beer specials and live music.
Coldsmoke festivities attract all walks of life, including professional athletes and filmmakers, ski bums and those just developing a taste for winter. The night begins with a hand-selected collection of this year’s Coldsmoke Awards entries, which will be introduced and then screened.
After the films, everyone can stay and dance to the legendary sounds of Steve Meyer and groove into the night with My Brother’s Keeper.
There is one big difference from years past – this year, the Coldsmoke People’s Choice films will be hosted online through March 8. Viewers are encouraged to take their time watching these films from the comfort of their own homes.
The winner will be announced on March 16 during the awards ceremony at The Emerson in Bozeman, Mont. For more information, visit coldsmokeawards.com.
