Congressional candidate coming to Avon

AVON, Colorado – Tisha Casida, a Pueblo small-business owner and independent candidate for the 3rd Congressional District, will travel to Eagle County on Saturday to discuss her platform and the national issues that are affecting local residents.
She will speak regarding the National Defense Authorization Act, the Federal Reserve, the importance of the 10th Amendment, as well as other issues that constituents want to discuss.
“As part of the generation now inflicted with massive debt,” Casida said she is running “because I have seen and felt the economic consequences of out-of-control spending and fiscal irresponsibility.”
She sees the federal government as having “lost its way” and representatives more concerned with “representing D.C. special interests rather than their own states and districts.”
All citizens and constituents are invited to come and participate at the event, which will be in Avon on Saturday at Loaded Joe’s Coffeehouse in Avon from 10 a.m.-noon.
