EAGLE – Four people are in custody after they allegedly damaged more than 30 vehicles with a Co2 BB gun.

Local police said they expect the number of victims to climb as more report damage to their vehicles, said Jessie Mosher, public information officer with the Eagle County Sheriff’s Office.

Reports rolled in Wednesday up and down the Vail Valley, from Avon all the way to Gypsum. The damage was done between 6 p.m. Monday and 1:50 a.m. Tuesday, police said.

“Local law enforcement wants to assure our community that it was a Co2 BB gun that was used in this crime spree,” Mosher said.
