Eagle County’s ‘One Book, One Valley’ events announced

Several partnering organizations will host a lineup of book-related events for this year’s “One Book, One Valley” initiative. One Book, One Valley is a valley-wide reading and discussion program that encourages all residents to read the same book at the same time to create a community book club. This years’ book selection for One Book, One Valley is “Into the Beautiful North” by Luis Alberto Urrea. The lineup of events is highlighted by two exciting evenings at Colorado Mountain College: a panel discussion of the book on March 22, and a live theater event with the Vail Valley Theater Company on April 2.

Theater performance featuring the Vail Valley Theater Company: Colorado Mountain College, April 2, 6 p.m.
Panel Discussion featuring Jan Attoma, CMC Professor of ESL; Carol Koch, CMC Assoc. Professor of Spanish; Katy Walker, CMC Librarian; and Megan McGee Bonta, from Catholic Charities: Colorado Mountain College, March 22, 6 p.m.
