Eagle Holy Cross campgrounds reduce services for fall

MINTURN, Colorado – The Eagle-Holy Cross Ranger District won’t be providing services at the following campgrounds after Sept. 30: Fulford Cave, Yeoman Park, Halfmoon, Sweetwater, Coffee Pot, White Owl and Deep Lake. The campgrounds remain physically open to camping however service such as cleaning and stocking bathrooms, cleaning fire pits, or picking up garbage will not occur.-
Campers are welcome to continue camping but they should bring their own bathroom supplies.
Camp Hale Memorial south of Minturn will remain open with full services and fees until Oct. 14.
Good and garbage must be stored in a bear resistant manner in the developed campgrounds.—
