EAGLE-VAIL, Colorado – Following its Feb. 9 meeting, the Eagle-Vail Property Owners Association announced the results of its 2013 board election. Chris Romer, current association president and Cindy Gilbert, current vice president, were re-elected to two year terms. Former former association board member Mike Kieler was elected to a new two-year term. There were four candidates seeking three seats.
The three will also serve on the Eagle-Vail Board of Governors, made up of the five association members and the five-member Eagle-Vail Metropolitan District board of directors. Last month, Leah Mayer was selected to fill the unexpired term of Keith Odza, who resigned to take a position in Florida.
Romer said he was excited to be continuing on the board and that it is gratifying to know that “our owners, by and large, think we’re doing a good job.”
Kieler will take his seat at the next Board of Governors meeting, set for Thursday at 4:30 p.m. at the Eagle-Vail Golf Course Clubhouse.
