Devils Diary

EAgle Valley High School senior Travis Edgar will be wearing purple, gold and black next fall when he becomes a Butler Community College Grizzly. On Monday Edgar, shown here with his parents Bill and Eliza Edgar and EVHS baseball coach Jesse Meryhew, signed his letter of intent to play for the college's baseball team. The school is located in El Dorado, Kansas. Edgar said that after attending a camp in Wichita, the college expressed interest and that he's very excited for the opportunity to attend Butler. In an interesting twist, EVHS Principal Greg Doan grew up in El Dorado. Meryhew was on-hand to congratulate Edgar and said Butler has a very nice campus. The EVHS coach added that he is extremely excited for the upcoming Devils baseball season.
