Eagle Valley High School has the following sports competitions and events coming up this week. Come out and support the home team – the Eagle Valley Devils. The high school is located at 641 Valley Road in Gypsum.
TCAP TESTING, ACT PREP
Unless you are a senior, get a good night's sleep Wednesday night because on Thursday morning, TCAP testing will take place for 9th and 10th graders, and ACT prep will take place for 11th graders. A special class schedule is planned for afternoon classes.
Thursday, March 6
During the school day, the school's annual spring pep fest will take place.
The junior varsity girls soccer team travels to Edwards to play Battle Mountain High School beginning at 4 p.m.
The baseball team hosts Paonia High School with the varsity starting at 4 p.m. followed by the junior varsity at 6 p.m.
Friday, March 7
The girls golf team travels to play in the Palisade Invitational beginning at noon.
Saturday, March 8
The girls varsity soccer team hosts Summit High School at 11 a.m.
The baseball team travels to Coal Ridge High School with the junior varsity beginning at 11 a.m. and the varsity following at 1 p.m.
Monday, March 10
The girls golf team travels to Grand Junction to compete in the Lincoln Park Scramble.
Tuesday, March 11
The girls junior varsity and varsity soccer teams travel to Middle Park High School with the varsity team playing at 4 p.m., followed by the junior varsity at 6 p.m.
The boys lacrosse teams host Battle Mountain High School with varsity starting at 4 p.m. and junior varsity following at 5:30 p.m.
The girls lacrosse teams travel to Aspen with varsity beginning at 4 p.m. followed by the junior varsity team at 5:30 p.m.
Wednesday, March 12
The girls golf team travels to Delta to compete in the Delta Invitational beginning at 10 a.m.
