Eagle Valley High School track team members train for their April 29 meet at Battle Mountain High School.

Eagle Valley High School has the following sports competitions and events coming up this week. Come out and support the home team — the Eagle Valley Devils. The high school is located at 641 Valley Road in Gypsum.

Thursday, April 24

Pole-vaulters from the track team will travel to West Grand for a 1 p.m. competition.

The boys lacrosse teams heads to Summit High School with varsity starting at 4 p.m. and junior varsity following at 5:30 p.m.

The girls soccer team travels to Rifle with varsity starting at 4 p.m. and JV following at 6 p.m.

Friday, April 25

Baseball’s junior varsity team travels to Delta for a tournament.

The track’s JV team heads to Montrose for a 9 a.m. start, while the varsity heads north to Moffat County for a noon start.

The girls soccer team hosts Glenwood Springs at the Gypsum Sports Complex with JV starting action at 4 p.m. and varsity following at 6 p.m.

The girls varsity lacrosse team hosts Battle Mountain for a 4 p.m. start time.

Saturday, April 26

The varsity baseball team heads to Glenwood Springs for a double header with action starting at 11 a.m.

The EVHS Junior/Senior prom will take place at Vail Valley Jet Center Hangar No. 1 from 8 to 11 p.m.

Monday, April 28

The girls golf team travels to Yampa Valley for an 11 a.m. tee time.

The baseball teams host Delta with varsity starting at 3 p.m. and JV following at 5 p.m.

NWEA testing begins for 9th and 10th graders.

Tuesday, April 29

The track teams head to Battle Mountain for a 1 p.m. start time.

The girls golf team travels to Rifle for a 10 a.m. competition.

The girls varsity lacrosse team plays Grand Junction High School at Colorado Mesa University at 7 p.m.

The boys lacrosse teams also play Grand Junction at Longs Park with varsity beginning at 4 p.m. and JV following at 5:30 p.m.
