New Shop – Wizard’s Eye – lands in Eagle
March 6, 2014
Eagle has a new, unique shop to check out with shelves full of crystals, collectibles, pins, wire wraps, incense, apparel, local art, piercings, hats and metaphysical supplies.
Owner Josh Harkay launched his business in Gypsum but needed more space, so a move was necessary. Harkay has filled his space with many items that have been requested directly from customers. Harkay grew up in the valley, moved to California for a while and is now back.
"Once I was gone, I realized how much I loved it here," said Harkay.
Many customers ask Harkay what the name "Wizard's Eye" means.
"It means what you want it to mean," he said. "To me, it means looking inward — into yourself, instead of out in the world for answers. Be the change you want to see."
Harkay firmly believes in good karma and treating people with love and respect. He often gives things away in his shop if he thinks someone really needs a particular object. He believes in boosting the spirits of everyone that enters his store.
"Everyone has something to offer," said Harkay. "Many times they are allowing things to hold them back that shouldn't."
The shop also helps local artists show their work. The focus is the little things. Call 970-471-6858 for more information and like the Wizard's Eye Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/wizardseye970. Wizard's Eye is located off of Chambers Avenue in the old Eagle Valley Printing spot. Hours are Monday through Friday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
