Free live music by local musicians will be performed at the Redstone Inn Thursday, March 13, from 8 to 10 p.m.
Historical tour at Hotel Colorado
A historical tour of the Hotel Colorado is planned Thursday, March 13 at 4 p.m.
Take a walk back in time to experience the history, humor and a few haunts in the Hotel Colorado. Each tour lasts one hour and cost is $8 for Adults, $4 for children, 12 and under.
A brilliant local “to do” event happenes every weekend in downtown Glenwood Springs when Cooper Wine & Spirits hosts free tastings from 5 to 7 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays beginning March 14. Stop by and expand your tastes. Every weekend a different variety of hand selected wines, craft beers or Colorado spirits are offered. This weekend the following are being served: four selections of craft beer from Eagle’s Bonfire Brewing. One of the senior brewers from Bonfire will be on hand to lend his knowledge to the tasting. Admission is free.
African photo exhibit
On March 14 beginning at 5 p.m., the Gallery 809 will host the “Bush Babies of Africa” gallery.
This free event features beautiful paintings and drawings of African wildlife and native people and a percentage of the sales go to fund Peace Park Projects. Hor d’oeuvres, wine and Glenwood Brew Pub beer will be served.

Poochie Poker Run
The Poochie Poker Run is slated Saturday, March 15 from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at Sunlight Mountain Resort.
All proceeds benefit the animals in need. There will be live music and prizes.

St. Patrick’s Day march
The Roaring Fork Young Professionals March Event will happen on St. Patrick’s Day – Monday, March 17 – beginning at 6 p.m. at the new Glenwood Springs Library.
Wear your green and the march will conclude at Grind for some green beer and corned beef.

Community Health Fairs
Valley View Hospital will host three Community Health Fairs this spring, bringing blood tests, medical screenings and educational exhibits to various locations.
The early blood pre-draw is available on Wednesday, March 19 from 6:30 to 10 a.m. at Mountain View Church at 2195 Co Rd 154 in Glenwood Springs.
