Silt Heydays is planed Saturday and Sunday, Aug. 2 – 3.
The small town celebration has been a tradition since 1969, and includes a lot of good food, prizes, crafts and music. It all takes place at Veteran’s Park.
The Magical Moments Summer Concert Series featuring Doctor Robert, a Beatles Tribute Band, is planned at Redstone Park on Saturday, Aug. 2 from 6 to 9 p.m.
Garfield County Fair and Rodeo
The Garfield County Fair & Rodeo is Aug. 4-10 at 1001 Railroad Avenue in Rifle.
Take Interstate 70 to exit 90. Head north on CO-13, and continue on it as it develops into Railroad Avenue. The fairgrounds is on the left.
Aspen Summer Dance
The Aspen Summer Dance Festival on Tuesday, Aug. 5 features Juan Siddi Flamenco Santa Fe Encore.

Glenwood’s downtown market will be Tuesday, Aug. 5 at Centennial Park from 4 to 8 p.m.
Glenwood’s Downtown Market features farmers, ranchers, local chefs, food vendors, arts, crafts, special events, and is an all-around good excuse to get out and have fun with your neighbors. At the market, shoppers will find Olathe sweet corn, Palisade peaches, raspberries, apples, green chili, apricots, tomatoes, green beans, organic produce, fresh flowers, fresh-baked bread and pastries, handmade jewelry, unique clothing, artwork, local musicians and more.
The market is located on 9th Street between Grand and Cooper avenues in the heart of downtown Glenwood Springs. It is highly visible to traffic traveling through downtown and easy walking distance from Glenwood’s many restaurants and shops.
