Celebrate Colorado Day at Sylvan Lake State Park

To mark Colorado Day this Monday, Aug. 4, Colorado State Parks are waiving pass park fees for the entire day.

Locals can take this opportunity to visit the nearby gem — Sylvan Lake State Park southeast of Eagle. Catch some freshly stocked trout, stroll around the lake and enjoy the wildflowers, or just have a picnic with a scenic view. Be sure to check out the new and improved 5.5 mile West Brush Creek Trail.

While park pass fees will not be charged Monday, fishing limits, fishing licence rules and camping fees still apply.
