In high school I was … An “all-rounder,” I suppose. I enjoyed academics, but was active in sports and a number of clubs as well. I think that, more than anything else, it was the trait that got me into West Point.

If I were a T-shirt, I would be (fabric, color, any print?) ... Tie-dye. When I look back, I hope I might say I lived my life in vibrant, full colors. Plus, you can’t help but smile at a crazy tie-dyed t-shirt.

What’s the best thing about your town? It’s such a great valley and I love the breadth and variety of it all. What’s especially great about Gypsum is the openness of the valley and the friendliness of the hometown people. It doesn’t hurt that it’s seven minutes from home to work.

The best thing about my job is … Without doubt, the amazing people I get to work with, both at the airport and all across the community. The airport is a fast-paced, exciting place and I feel very fortunate to stand in the thick of it.

As a kid, I always … Was a “reader.” I was taken with books and would read just about anything I could get my hands on. To this day, I remain curious about the world around me, about history, and about the people who influence our world. If I could be any superhero, I’d be ... Batman. Doesn’t everybody want to be Batman?

If I was given a million dollars, the first thing I’d buy is ... Put most of it in savings. I feel blessed in my life and I don’t really need a whole lot more stuff.
