Today's activity: Cruising the county's 4x4 trails with Rocky Mountain Sport Riders.
Conditions: Rocky Mountain Sport Riders and the US Forest Service enjoyed great weather this weekend for a specially designated motorized user trail day, where unlicensed vehicles like ATVs and RZRs were temporarily allowed to use the trails to help close down unsustainable areas in hopes of getting motorized single track open to the public in the future. Currently, only licensed vehicles like trucks with plates and street legal dirt bikes are allowed on National Forest land in Eagle County.
Today's weather: Scattered showers and thunderstorms after noon. Some of the storms could produce gusty winds. Partly sunny, with a high near 60. North northwest wind 10 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%. — National Weather Service
