From Jan. 6 through March 31, GRC members can participate in unlimited fitness classes for only $89. Not a member? Still not a problem. The non member rate is only $149 for the same time period.
The class schedule includes spin, pilates, yoga, zumba and the popular Fury interval training. There will be monthly weigh ins to track your progress, as well as discounted personal training sessions to help you reach your goals. The winner of the program wins a six month fitness pass.

Western Eagle County Metropolitan Recreation District is hosting a skateboarding clinic on Mondays from Jan. 6 to Feb.10 at the WECMRD Field House Mini Ramp.
Kids ages 3 to 5 years old will attend from 4 to 5 p.m and kids age 6 and older will go from 5 to 6 p.m. The cost is $35 for members and $42 for non-members. Kids must bring their own safety equipment and a helmet is required. Skateboards are provided for kids who don’t own one.

The Eagle Public Library is hosting a Downtown Abbey premiere party at 1 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 5. To celebrate, the library will feature last season’s final episode followed by Downton games, refreshments, and group discussion.
The Eagle Library’s popular Explorers Club and Art in the Afternoon programs are moving effective next week. In the past, the programs were held on alternating Thursdays beginning at 3:30 p.m. Starting Wednesday, Jan. 8, both Explorers Club and Art in the Afternoon offerings are switching to Wednesdays. Start time will remain 3:30 p.m.
