High Altitude Society: Vilar Performing Arts Guild
Ryan Summerlin March 12, 2013
The Beaver Creek Club hosted The Vilar Guild and its many supporters on Wednesday during the Guild’s annual fundraising event. The evening featured a private engagement with singer Kelley Zinge performing the music of the great Patsy Cline. Zinge channeled the singer perfectly with her strong presence and powerful pitch, making Patsy Cline come alive before your eyes.
The Vilar Guild would like to thank the generous donations of delicious food by the many local restaurants too numerous to mention. In-home dinners slated for later in the summer were auctioned off and surely they will not disappoint. Organizers Lin Bercher, Laureen Hopkins and Doris Dewton, among others, were thrilled with the sold-out group of supporters.
The Vilar Performing Arts Center Guild’s mission is to build community awareness, accessibility and audience. For 10 years they have provided tickets to local students and Senior Citizens. The Vilar Guild is always recruiting new members to further their mission. For more information, find them at www.vilarpac.org.
