VAIL — Joni Taylor & Co. Real Estate has merged with Prudential Colorado Properties.

Prudential Colorado Properties will be transitioning to its new brand, Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices, later this year.

“John and Michael Slevin have built a fabulous company here in Vail,” said Joni Taylor. “The transition Prudential Colorado Properties will be making to Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices was the catalyst for our decision and timing to merge now. By joining this new network we will have access to greater resources, a state-of-the-art technology platform, plus expanded reach through a national and international referral system, enabling us to serve buyers and sellers even better.”

Joni Taylor & Co. Real Estate will now be Prudential Colorado Properties, The Taylor/Dill Team until the formal transition.

“We are thrilled to have Joni Taylor and her partner Barney Dill join Prudential Colorado Properties,” Prudential Colorado Properties owner Michael Slevin said. “They are two of the most powerful and respected brokers in Vail and we share their philosophy of ongoing commitment to ultimate customer service through high touch and innovation.”

“Aligning our two companies at this time is the next step in enhancing the quality of our service,” said Taylor. “We have compatible visions and progressive, growth-oriented operating styles. We will benefit greatly from the power of the Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices name, and as a company the qualities of ‘strength, integrity and trust’ reflect our service philosophy. We look forward to the added benefits of this strategic move, and are confident this merger will greatly enhance the excellent reputations that both companies already have for satisfying homeowners.”

Prudential Colorado Properties became a member of the Prudential Real Estate network in 1991. Prudential Colorado Properties was founded in 1971 and has six offices and a vacation rental division. Since that time it has earned a host of honors and was recently recognized as one of the top 50 companies in the Prudential Real Estate network.

Irvine, Calif.-based HSF Affiliates LLC operates the Prudential Real Estate and Real Living Real Estate franchise networks and the future Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices. The company is a joint venture between HomeServices of America, Inc., the nation’s second-largest, full-service residential brokerage firm, and Brookfield Asset Management, a leading provider of real estate and relocation services, technology and knowledge.
