Longtime Eagle County FirstBank employee retires

EAGLE COUNTY, Colorado – FirstBank recently announced that Mary McDougall retired from the company after 24 years of service.

McDougall began her career as a banking officer in 1986 in Austin, Texas, before moving to Vail in 1988 to work for FirstBank. She has worked in both the Avon and Vail markets since that time, and served as the president of FirstBank’s branches in Vail for the past two years.

McDougall plans to remain in Vail and hopes to spend her time enjoying all our community has to offer. In addition to her work at FirstBank, McDougall has been involved on the boards of many local nonprofits and organizations including the Vail Valley Charitable Fund, the Vail Breast Cancer Awareness Group, the town of Vail Local Housing Authority and the Skating Club of Vail, in addition to serving on various committees and PTAs for local schools.



In other FirstBank news, Ellen Moritz has been named the president of all of FirstBank’s branches in Eagle County. Moritz has worked for FirstBank since 1990 and is currently the president of FirstBank’s branches in Avon, Edwards and Eagle. She is also on the boards of various organizations including Walking Mountains Science Center, the Vail Valley Charitable Fund, St. Clare of Assisi Catholic School, and Eagle County’s Financial Advisory Board.
