Mental health recovery training in Eagle
Ryan Summerlin December 2, 2009
EAGLE, Colorado – Peer support and mental health recovery knowhow can be important both for a person dealing with mental health issues, and for support persons, such as a family member. There will be a mental health recovery training beginning Friday and Saturday that will continue for the next two Fridays and Saturdays, and finish the first Friday and Saturday after the holidays.
The training is valuable for those who want to learn a lot about recovery, and trains one to be a consumer peer specialist. The training addresses mental health recovery, problem solving, effective listening, peer support, and more.
