Minturn social media marketing company Mobloggy expands
MINTURN — Mobloggy, of Minturn, has announced the hire of its new online community manager, John O’Neill. The hire of O’Neill marks the expansion of Mobloggy, which is currently in its fourth year of operation specializing in digital marketing.
O’Neill’s role with Mobloggy will be the maintenance of social media presence and working closely with the team to assemble all public relations related material.
“John (O’Neill) stood out from a range of incredible applicants,” said Mobloggy Director of Operations Jodi Jahrling. “His particular abilities were well showcased throughout the interview process. He will work well with our team to deliver a high level of performance.”
O’Neill comes to Mobloggy with expertise in writing for print and the Web, social media, digital marketing, sales and interpersonal communication.
O’Neill, 23, is a native to the Vail Valley. He grew up as a member of the community, spending his younger days skiing at Vail and Beaver Creek as a part of the local Buddy Werner program. He competed in track and cross country for Battle Mountain High School, where he still holds various school records.

O’Neill left the valley to attend Colorado State University, where he competed on their varsity running teams and studied journalism. In 2011, O’Neill was the top graduate from CSU’s School of Journalism, specializing in news-editorial journalism.
After graduating, O’Neill turned his athletic potential toward triathlons as a U.S. Olympic Training Center resident athlete, and turned his academic past toward freelance writing for various publications within Colorado.
