On the Hill video ski report: Snow keeps coming at Vail
Ryan Summerlin December 24, 2012
Brought to you by and the .Vail official report: 1″ new snow.Vail Daily field report: 1″ on top of groomers, a foot of or more of fresh snow in untracked places.Liftline status: Not bad for a new snow day. Eagle Bahn Gondola had a slight line at 9 a.m. but nothing anywhere else.Weather: Cold and snowy. Low visibility.Run of the day: Sweet and Sour.Breakdown: With 14 inches in the last 6 days, conditions at Vail are right back to where they should be for this time of the year. Powder hunters will find plenty of fresh in the stash spots and harder to reach places, and people who just like to cruise the whole mountain can now do so without having worry about encountering rocks and mud along the way. But as the clouds hang overhead and the snowflakes fall, visibility is reduced so be careful out there.Snowcast: It should keep falling until Thursday afternoon before breaking a few days, forecasters say.
On the Hill is shot with a GoPro HERO3 Silver Edition.
