On the Hill: Dogboarding in Vail
July 25, 2013
Today’s activity: Dogboarding to the Vail Community Picnic
Conditions: The Town of Vail Community Picnic, held every summer at Donovan Park and Pavilion, offers locals and valley residents a chance to get together on a beautiful day, in a great place, and enjoy a free meal. Donovan park is especially dog friendly, making this an opportunity for neighborhood dogs to get to know each other as well as their owners. Donovan Park is located between Cascade and the Materhorn neighborhood off South Frontage Road in Vail.
Today’s weather: A 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 10am. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 70. Light west wind increasing to 5 to 10 mph in the morning. Winds could gust as high as 20 mph. . — National Weather Service
