Today’s activity: Checking out the pandemonium at the annual Blizzard Sale
Conditions: Beginning Friday and continuing throughout the weekend (and possibly into next weekend, if all the inventory hasn’t been sold), the annual Blizzard Sale is a destination of its own within Vail Village which excites locals and visitors alike. The sale takes place in Mountain Plaza at the base of Gondola One, transforming the building into an explosion of merchandise with sales up to 70 percent off. Hours 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday.
Today’s weather: Isolated showers and thunderstorms before 8pm. Partly cloudy, with a low around 45. West wind 5 to 15 mph becoming south in the evening. Chance of precipitation is 20 percent. — National Weather Service
