On the Hill: Running down a Crimpster
July 30, 2013
Today’s activity: Running down a Crimpster
Conditions: Part of what makes the Vail Farmer’s Market so popular among locals is the extraordinary food items you can get there. However, as the market only runs once per week — Sundays from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. — you must arrive early to get the high-demand items. Riley Romanin, owner of Hooked restaurant in Beaver Creek, says he loves the market for the atmosphere and the people. “I look forward to it every week,” he said.
Today’s weather: A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 2 p.m. Mostly sunny, with a high near 72. South southwest wind 5 to 15 mph becoming west in the afternoon. — National Weather Service
