On the Hill: Shopping at the Vail Farmers Market
July 16, 2013
Today’s activity: Hobnobbing at the Vail Farmers Market.
Conditions: Every Sunday is a different experience at the Vail Farmers Market, and that’s partly due to its namesake: Farmers. As the growing season progresses in Colorado, different farmers show up with different selections every Sunday on Meadow Drive in Vail, and every Sunday offers a new chance to pick up a host of great ingredients for a week’s worth of meals.
Tomorrow’s weather: A 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after noon. Partly sunny, with a high near 72. Calm wind becoming north northwest around 5 mph in the afternoon. — National Weather Service
