On the Hill: Ziplining 200 feet above Alkali Creek
August 13, 2013
Today’s activity: Ziplining through Alkali Canyon
Conditions: In Wolcott, the Alkali Creek has carved its way through the mountains to create the Alkali Canyon, although you wouldn’t necessarily know it by driving alongside it on Hwy 131. By erecting six zipline features, Zip Adventures at 4 Eagle Ranch has created a way to see the canyon that provides views unlike anyone else has ever seen in its nearly 200 years of ranching history.
Today’s weather: Scattered showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 2pm. Partly sunny, with a high near 67. Calm wind becoming west around 5 mph in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 40 percent. — National Weather Service
