Vail Daily contributor Butch Mazzuca will teach a three-session photography course at Colorado Mountain College in Edwards, beginning Oct. 10 from 6 to 8 p.m. This fast-paced, fun course is designed for beginning to intermediate photo enthusiasts eager to explore the fundamentals of exposure and composition in DSLR photography. The class will examine what makes a good photograph, capturing light, the shutter speed-ISO-aperture relationship; metering, picture styles, focusing modes, depth of field, raw vs. JPEG, filters and lenses, essential gear and more.
