Fresh off a sold out New Year’s run at the Fillmore in Denver with his band STS9, bassist David Murphy heads to the mountains for a short run performing the music of Pink Floyd with his tribute “Pigs on the Wing.” This all-star lineup also features members of Maserati, Velveteen Rabbit and Collective Efforts, and finding the time away from their other projects is difficult so Thursday night’s show at Agave in Avon marks the bands first performance in the valley.

“These guys get together so rarely and the shows they’ve played together are always epic, so this is a treat. We’re thrilled they’re making the Vail Valley one of the only mountain stops on their short Colorado tour,” said talent buyer Crawford Byers.

Special guest DJ Malakai will also perform. Doors open at 9 p.m. and music starts at 10 p.m. Tickets are $20 day, available at Agave, Get Hi Gallery and RMEntertainment.com.
