BEAVER CREEK — The ninth annual Beaver Creek Wine & Spirits Festival, presented by Wine Spectator Magazine, returns to Beaver Creek Friday through Sunday.

Each event during the weekend has a specialized theme. The Wine & Tapas Social on Friday at The Metropolitan encourages friends and family to taste a variety of tapas dishes paired with wines from their extensive collection.

The Walk & Wine event on Saturday includes a hike on Beaver Creek Mountain that winds through aspen groves and meadows of wildflowers above Beaver Creek Village. The hike is guided by experts from Beaver Creek’s Hiking Center and eventually leads to a place setting in Creekside Park for a chef-lead food and wine pairing featuring Grouse Mountain Grill Executive Chef David Gutowski.

The main event, Saturday’s Walk Around Grand Tasting, is a culmination of the weekend’s highlighted dishes and drinks with mouth-watering samples, music and drink.

The Beaver Creek Wine & Spirits Festival hosts 10 events total over three days. Tickets can be purchased online at www.BeaverCreek.com/wine and some events are already sold out.
