BEAVER CREEK — With the close of the 2012-13 ski season, Beaver Creek Resort’s only AAA Five-Diamond Hotel, The Ritz-Carlton, Bachelor Gulch, began its $15 million renovation program to refresh and enhance the property’s already unique mountain lodge decor. Furniture and furnishings, guest rooms and suites, public areas including the lobby and great room are being updated with a contemporary perspective to the existing rustic decor.
“The Ritz-Carlton, Bachelor Gulch has always been an acclaimed retreat on Beaver Creek Mountain, appreciated for its ski-in/ski-out access, organic design and relaxed lifestyle,” said Abdullah Vural, general manager for The Ritz-Carlton, Bachelor Gulch. “The enhancement plans will add a renewed sense of energy to this iconic resort, considered one of the finest in the world.”
The award-winning resort’s vibrant new look embraces the rich heritage of “parkitecture” – a style inspired by the great mountain lodges of the National Park system — through a display of earth tones, sophisticated furnishings and contemporary paintings. After completion, the newly renovated resort will feature clean lines that connect with modern traditions while imparting warmth and richness. All designed to enhance the comfort and lifestyle experience for today’s discerning traveler. In addition to guest rooms and the lobby areas, The Ritz-Carlton Club Level lounge, featuring private access and continuous food and beverage presentations will also be renovated. The resort will be ready to welcome guests beginning on June 5.
Designed by Bilkey Llinas Design, recognized globally as one of the premier hospitality interior design firms, each guest room and suite is artfully redesigned with modern sophistication yet reminiscent of the surrounding National Forest.
