Sebastian-Vail honored as a Colorado top resort by Conde Nast Traveler readers

VAIL — The Sebastian-Vail, managed by Timbers Resorts, was recognized by the readers of Condé Nast Traveler as one of the best in the United States in the magazine’s 30th Annual Readers’ Survey. More than 300,000 readers of the travel magazine participated in the annual Readers’ Choice survey. The Sebastian was voted the No. 5 Top Hotel in Colorado.

This is the inaugural year for a Colorado-specific list as editors of the magazine noted that, “Colorado is so popular that it now has its own hotel and resorts lists.”

More than 7,320 hotels and resorts, 610 cities, 225 islands, 468 cruise ships, 158 airlines and 195 airports were included in this year’s survey — the largest-ever list of Readers’ Choice Award winners.

“It’s always such an honor to be recognized by top industry publications like Conde Nast Traveler,” said Bryan Austin, general manager of The Sebastian-Vail. “Awards like this, that are selected by readers and our past guests, are even more humbling as they acknowledge the property for its service, amenities and creative guest-service programs.”
