Small wildfire near Loveland forces evacuations

LOVELAND, Colorado – Fire officials are telling residents near Flatiron Reservoir and Carter Lake to leave their homes and evacuate to Loveland in northern Colorado because of a 30-acre wildfire.
KUSA-TV and KMGH-TV are reporting that Loveland fire officials say the wildfire has burned less than a square mile but it is threatening structures. No injures or damage has been reported.
It wasn’t immediately known how many structures are threatened and it’s unclear how the wildfire began. Officials say it was reported at about 10:30 a.m. Sunday.
