AVON — Spa Anjali at The Westin Riverfront Resort & Spa at Beaver Creek Mountain recently announced that Ingrid Middaugh has been named spa director.
Middaugh has lived in the Vail Valley for more than 14 years, previously serving as the spa director at Aria Spa at the Vail Cascade Resort & Spa and at The Lodge & Spa at Vail.
Middaugh graduated from Central Michigan University with a bachelor’s degree in dietetics. An avid runner, she ran varsity cross-country and was on the track team at Central Michigan for her four years at the school.
“We are thrilled to have Ingrid, with her extensive luxury spa experience and strong Vail Valley ties, here at Spa Anjali,” said Gaye Steinke, general manager of Spa Anjali and the athletic club at The Westin. “The timing is perfect as we gear up for another busy ski season and continue to roll out our unique new Chakra Blessing treatments.”
Spa Anjali was recently named one of the “Best Spas for Ski & Snowboard” by SpaFinder Wellness 365 in its 2013 Readers’ Choice Awards. It was also named one of Organic Spa Magazine’s “Top 10 Green Spas for 2013” and ranked number 8 on the “Top 100 U.S. Resort Spas” for 2013 by Conde Nast Traveler.
